The Extended Care Unit of Mercer County Hospital provides respite care to family members, as well as custodial care to those who are unable to care for themselves. Daily activities are planned for the residents, such as games, newspaper readings, special events and special guest visitors. A patio is located outside the Activity Room, complete with a flower garden, for the resident's enjoyment.
